Blueberry Scones with Orange (or Lemon) Glaze

Delicious scones filled with blueberries with an orange or lemon glaze on top. Perfect for breakfast or at break time with your coffee or tea.
It isn’t too far off that it will be blueberry season in our neck of the woods and I do love those big, sweet, deep purple berries. I don’t think I have met a blueberry recipe I haven’t loved. So, I am using up the remains of the berries from last year to make these blueberry scones, loaded with blueberries and glistening with a sweet orange glaze. They make morning a happy time.

Blueberry Muffins

Easy blueberry muffins are made lighter by substituting applesauce for some of the butter for a yummy, cake-like breakfast or snack time treat.One of my favorite things about summer is fresh blueberries. I have already shared a few recipes for blueberry muffins and I have yet another. This recipe for blueberry muffins produces a lighter, more cake-like crumb.
