Creamy Orange Fruit Dip

By Lorraine

Super easy recipe for a delicious orange fruit dip made with cream cheese, orange zest, orange juice, cream and confectioners' sugar. It is the best!
Springtime is actually happening and we are enjoying some warmer-weather outdoor activities. Meals on the patio are one of the first pleasures as the cold temps disappear and warmer days invite us outside. Orange fruit dip is creamy and light with a hint of orange. It is just right with a plate of fresh fruit. Mix it up in just a few minutes. It can even be made a day ahead for convenience.

Last summer I made this dip with my granddaughters and a couple of friends. The girls love cooking together and then enjoying the fruit of their labor. It was so pleasant to hear them chat and critique what they made. Young girls are so sweet. They still talk about their favorite dip and I know they have taken the recipe and made it for their families. We also made quiche. If you want the easy recipe, click Quiche Lorraine.

It is pretty hard to resist a plate of sweet, juicy, seasonal fruit and it is even better with creamy dip. A little like eating lightly sweetened cheesecake. It quickly disappears.

When something looks this good it is much easier to resist a calorie laden dessert. And so much healthier.

Quiche Lorraine
For breakfast, brunch or dinner, it doesn't get easier than classic quiche Lorraine. A creamy filling of Swiss cheese, veggies and bacon (or ham) bakes in a flaky crust. Just as perfect for entertaining as it is for a weeknight dinner.
