This happy little Crochet Humpty Dumpty Egg is made using a modified version of my Easter Egg pattern. He certainly doesn’t fit in to an Easter decorating theme, but he does make a cute baby toy, baby shower decoration or gift topper.

Crochet Lego Blocks Scarf
The fun and interest in building and creating with LEGO’s can follow a kid right into adulthood. I know a guy (not the guy in the photos) with a huge collection and though now without much time with career and other responsibilities, is still, unashamedly, an enthusiast. This crochet LEGO scarf is a gift for my daughter’s boyfriend and my son-in-law bravely modeled it for me before I gave it away.Continue Reading
Crochet Hat for Abbey
This girl wanted a new hat.
A blue and grey hat to be exact. Something fun and warm.
I showed Abbey a few patterns to choose from and she picked this one.
She can wear it down on her forehead just above those pretty eyes or pushed back a little.
There is even room should she have a ponytail.
Worn like this, it resembles a snood.
Great spiral pattern on the back, this Drops Design pattern is designed as a guys hat.
I followed the L/XL sized because Abbey likes her hats big. But that required me to do lots of rounds of decreases to tighten around her temples. She tried it on as I went to be sure it fit just right.
Now this girl wants a new scarf.

Chloe Picks an Owl Hat
Chloe Picks an Owl Hat. Even though she chose the owl pattern while searching online with me for a hat I would make for her, Chloe’s squeal of delight when she saw her owl hat finished was a hoot!
I surprised her even more by making a pair of hand warmer mitts to match the hat.
Frozen Princess Anna Hat Cape & Mitts
Cambrie Noelle celebrated a birthday! She just turned 5 years old! A couple of weeks ago, she sat with me as we searched on my phone for an Anna hat from the popular Disney movie, FROZEN. This hat is the one she chose. I surprised her with her own Frozen Princess Anna Hat Cape & Mitts.

Infant Crochet Leg Warmers & Baby Beanie
Our Jamie is expecting a baby boy the end of this month and she asked me to make a pair of crochet leg warmers for him to wear home from the hospital. I gave some thought to the length of a infant newborn leg, the diameter of the thigh and ankle and came up with a tiny, cuffed pair to keep those little legs warm. Of course, there needs to be a matching beanie for his little noggin and a super soft blanket to swaddle him in.
Short Infinity Scarf

Short and quick projects can be so rewarding. Instant gratification for finishing a project. It is even better when the end result is a warm and snugly neck warmer. It doesn’t take much time to crochet a short infinity scarf for someone you love.
