Apple Crumb Pie
- 1 pie crust shell, unbaked
- 5-7 tart apples, peeled & thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
Toss apple slices with sugar and cinnamon. Fill pie crust with apples.
In medium bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar, flour and butter until crumbly. Place crumb mixture on top of the apples. Tent with foil to prevent over browning. Bake 25 minutes; remove foil and continue baking another 15-20 minutes until golden brown and juices begin to bubble over.

Thank you so much for the free download. I want to teach it's powerful words to my grandchildren. As for the apple pie, well, it is by far my favorite pie, especially with vanilla ice cream. I appreciate that you shared the recipe too. Well written post!
