With the GrandKids this Week

By Lorraine

So much to do during a weekend with grandkids. No more training wheels for Caleb. We found a bike at a yard sale this weekend so this little guy could ride at our house too.

His steering needs a bit more practice but he was loving it!

Homemade chocolate pudding with lots of whipped cream for Jared’s after school snack
Easy recipe for Lemon Tartlets. Delicious little cookies filled with a sweet lemony center are perfect for Christmas or with tea as a dessert.
This was Noah’s birthday weekend celebration with Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop.

He scrolled through my blog recipes and picked Lemon Tartlets to bake together. A quick trip to Produce Junction for fresh lemons and he was ready to proceed.

Last night we went to a ball game that started out sunny and hot.  By the 5th inning the sky darkened, the wind picked up and we headed for the car as a storm was moving in.  The game was called shortly after we left so we made the right decision to leave when we did.

Caleb also stayed over earlier in the week and we met up with Jamie at a playland.  Cambrie was happy to see her brother and Chloe was happy to engage in conversation.

We completed a four foot floor puzzle and then measured to see who was bigger. It is a reversible puzzle so next time we will work on the other side.
