Welcome Halloween?

Did you guess that Raider does NOT enjoy Halloween?
Welcome or unwelcome? Our schnauzer isn't sure about all the Halloween visitors that dare approach our front door as he faithfully guards the premises.
He would much rather be perched on a comfy chair undisturbed.
Also, remembering my dad who loved Halloween mostly because it was his birthday.
Daddy and Scotty our wonderful dog from the animal orphanage
Daddy with our old dog, Scotty, a ninety-pound sweetheart.

Granddaughters with American Girl dolls
These two cuties had just had a Birthday Party.
Brenna was 7 yesterday and Shaela will be 5 next week.
Oh, yes… as did many of you, we had snow all day Saturday.
Here are a few photos as it covered the colorful autumn leaves still on the trees.

Most unusual to get snow in October in these parts.

I found your site through your folded stars tutorial but return regularly to be fed by your devotional posts. Thank you for honoring our Lord. i especially enjoyed your kitchen/autumn colors this morning… and your recipes aren't bad either. God's blessings always.

Love Raider's A to Z list and all the photos are wonderful too!
Your yard looks so pretty in it's fall foliage and snow.

I need Raider to watch my entry tomorrow evening. 🙂

Great Photo of your dad. I miss my dad too.

Those girls are beautiful! and so is the snow on autumn leaves. I just think it's a little too early to be that cold. But I'm not complaining (am I?). 😉

Maybe it's just me but I think your Dad looks like the angel "Clarence" in It's a Wonderful Life in that picture!

And I'm with Raider on this one. I'm glad we live in the country and don't have to deal with the trick or treaters.

As always, your photos of grandchildren are just adorable.

Intolerant of Ichabods — so cute! Poor Raider, to be so unhappy at Halloween!

I'm with Raider ~ I don't like Halloween, either! So glad we have never had trick-or-treaters at our home ~ too off the beaten path! (Though some of the little ones are very cute and would be welcomed with a treat and a tract if they came!)
Oh, dear! Snow already! So much for global warming, eh? I am just a bit envious, however ~ I love the snow!
    Blessings this Sunday!

We have a new puppy. I wonder what he will think of Halloween… It is one of my favorite holidays! Wanted to say thank you for your bloggy birthday wishes at T.H. last week. That was so nice! I'm sure your girls will love having their very own granny bag. Happy Sunday. 🙂

Your dad was "stylin" in those trendy jeans. What a great photo for you to have {and share}.

That Halloween list is hysterical. He does NOT look like a happy camper, does he? I think that must have been a fun day for your Dad -a Halloween birthday! I'll bet he got right into the SPIRIT of things (pun intended).

I love those pictures of your grands…they are just such beautiful children, Lorraine!

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday-xo Diana

I would think twice before approaching your door with your dog sitting there! Lovely pictures of your granddaughters and your father! AND especially of the snow! We have quite a lot of snow and I wasn't really ready for it this early but it's so pretty. Enjoy your Sunday!

My goodness! That Raider has a long list of guard dog experience. 🙂 I love that face! He sure doesn't seem to like all the goings on. Hope your Sunday is a good one. Tammy

I have three dogs who don't like being disturbed on Halloween! But I love it. Beautiful shots of your family!
