Morning Sky

By Lorraine

At this time of year, if I look out the window toward the eastern sky a few minutes after 7 o’clock am, I often see the most amazing sunrises. This photo was taken from my front porch on the 19th of this month. I am usually in the kitchen at the back of the house each morning and will notice a bright reflection from the back windows of our neighbors house.  It is a reflection of a gorgeous sunrise.  Grabbing my camera I run to the front of our house and stand in awe for a few minutes as the colors change right before my eyes.
The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy.
Psalm 65:8

Wow, Lorraine-that is just a gorgeous sunrise. We get those kinds of sunsets-but not so much in the morning- xo Diana

Hi Lorraine, goodness, my visits here are few and far between lately. Just not enough hours in the day and there are times when I don't even get on the computer for a week or longer. Thanks so much for stopping by. I've been taking similar photos of sunrise in my corner of the world, but for us it happens just after 6:00 a.m. right now. I hope everyone there is well. Best wishes, Tammy

Lorraine, I just love this…and the poem is so appropriate. Yesterday was one of those mornings here in NC. The sky was a brilliant red but could only get a glimpse through all of the trees. This winter He has given us some beautiful skies!

    Have a blessed weekend!
