Loving Those Shamrock Shake Mustache Smiles

By Lorraine

Not too sure why making shamrock shake mustache faces became a tradition here but these silly leprechauns always have a delightful time of it.

A cheerful heart is good medicine

Proverbs 17:22

It began way back when Jared was just 3 1/2 and Abbey 9.
(See the band-aid on his little finger?  He had the nastiest looking wort and we applied stuff to it and covered it everyday with a new band-aid.  It took three months for the wort to go away.  It took Jared two more months to begin bending his finger again!  Oh, those fun memories!)

And the tradition continues.
{smile} the two little ones kept licking their yummy mustaches off

Jamie couldn’t leave her newest wee lassie out of the fun and rubbed a bit o’shake onto McChloe’s tiny lip.

O’Jared, wearin’ o’ the green

A couple of years ago I posted a recipe for a minty shake (click here to view)

    Beautiful memories of your mum.

Love the pattern and the photo of the dress – my mum used to make my clothes for special occasions too 🙂

Happy St Patricks Day from N Ireland.

That was fun! I'll bet the older kids were all thrilled with the mustache on the baby!

My kinda party L…and those kiddos are just so adorable. You need to send the precious baby-stash into "Got Milk!" I love your tradition and think I may copy you for a Saturday get-together.

At 3-1/2 and 9 you can see the age difference, but they don't look so far apart in age anymore. cute photos! I can't believe even Chloe got in on the fun. Hope your day is a good one. Tammy

It is all those fun little traditions that really bonds a family with fun, isn't it? And I see precious baby Chloe got her share, too. Next year she will be reaching for her own taste! xo Diana
