Grandson in the kitchen

By Lorraine

 Jared is a high school senior. His favorite foods are not always the healthiest but they are popular with his age group.
This instant ramen noodle dish is his creation and he is excited to share it.
I had such a great time watching him cook!

ingredients assembled and ready
 anxious to show me his knife skills
 chopping onion, green onion and garlic; then sweating them, as Jared instructs me {smile}
 everything lined up and ready for the next steps
 cooking and seasoning
 watchful eye
precise timing
 perfect plating
 artistic presentation
devouring
love, love, LOVE this boy guy!

Here is Jared’s recipe for

    How sweet! I always cooked with my son when he was growing up. Now at almost 36, he's the cook in his family. Enjoy your blogging break and the beginning of fall.
