Family Moments

By Lorraine

Jill came down from upstate New York to participate in The Love Run Philadelphia Half Marathon with her twin sister and a good friend, Megan.
in front of the Philadelphia Art Museum

Jamie and Jill before the run on a brisk morning
Finished!
The boys stayed at Jamie’s house and the girls stayed at my house. After making the bunny cake, they dyed Easter Eggs…
 experimented with the colors…
and techniques…
 admired their creations…
then promptly decided to eat their masterpieces!
 someone liked them…
 someone didn’t
I went to my computer for a time while the girls played all about the house.  I heard them scampering in and out of the garage, upstairs and down. They yelled to me they were playing dress-up.  This is what I found! Quite an able crew, don’t you think!
Then popcorn and a movie before bed
after all that baking and cleaning it’s hard for wee ones to stay awake
Earlier this month, our oldest grandson was inducted into the Latin Honor Society. After the ceremony, we had a fun dinner at a nearby restaurant.
{ah, how I love this young man}

Your little cleaning crew is the cutest thing I've seen for a while! Love that picture!

As for your handsome grandson and his fine honor, well, we are so proud of him. Latin is an important language and it will be interesting to see where that takes him. Congratulations to him!

That first picture reminds me of an old movie I saw more than once! And good for your grandson. Latin was one of the most valuable classes I took in school–I still use it! What a cute. cute pic of the grands all decked out as your cleaning crew!

What a treat to have those sweet girls staying at your house! No lack of fun and imagination there! I love their costumes…and their obvious delight in their play.

Congratulations to Jared! Why does he look so much older than he did in the last photo you shared? Time marches on…

Your "someone didn't" like the egg picture made me smile and I couldn't help but laugh at the one of the cleaning crew.

Well done to your grandson! Latin is such a good language to know. During every one of our trips we've had occasion to be grateful for the Latin I learned!

Lorraine, I wasn't aware that you had twins! They look SO much alike! How fun to have the "girls"…I miss coloring eggs…my little grands are too far away 🙁 Congrats to Jared on his accomplishments!
