Fall for Apples

By Lorraine

It’s Apple time again when the temps begin to drop and fall seems a little closer.
If you are looking for some ways to enjoy those beautiful apples showing up in the market, you might want to try baking up one of the these treats.
1 All-American, All Delicious Apple Pie
2 Apple Coffee Cake
3 Jewish Apple Cake
4 Double Apple Bundt Cake
5 Apple Pear Crisp
6 Apple Bundles
7 Cran-Apple Crisp
8 Apple Apple Bread Pudding

Or, maybe a hearty meat pie or spinach salad.  Top the salad with Grilled chicken for a more substantial entree.

Your photos are always so inviting. I love fall and …apples. I just wish the weather in Phoenix were a bit cooler.

    Blessings and love,
    Debbie

Lorraine, you must be the best cook in the world! Everything looks so delicious. I am gluten free and have been baking a little lately. Yum is all I can say. I think I need to knit but baking is so much fun! Like….'look Ma…what I made' =) Hope you are having a happy day.

Everything looks and sounds delicious. It's still very hot here but we are buying apples at the orchard locally.

Beautiful! I hope it's cooler where you are; not here! At first I misread (x2) spinach "pie" and was looking for it! I do love a pie as a main dish and even serve quiche sometimes, yes, spinach quiche. (have you heard the saying "real men eat quiche?"

I name thee "Queen of the Apples" this year, Lorraine. One recipe more delicious than the next. And served on the lovely harvest dinner set I remember in an older post,"Autumn Leaves". Yum. xo
