That sounds like a salad of today except maybe for the french fried onions–do we still use fresh mushrooms on salads? I do! It all sounds like something I'd make today. It's interesting how food styles come and go just like clothing and house decor. 🙂

I would use canned mushrooms instead…… love 'em cooked but don't like them fresh or raw, lol!
