Think on These Things ~ Rain

By Lorraine

As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Isaiah 55:10-11

Beautiful photo and Scripture to accompany it. I hope you had a fabulous birthday celebration Lorraine. And btw, if you could send some rain to Phoenix, I'd greatly appreciate it. 🙂

    Blessings and love,
    Debbie

NOTHING in the world can make our Earth so beautiful as rain. And, o, how we need some out here in West Texas.

    Beautiful photo….:)

Great photo. I always say, you can water the earth yourself but when it rains, everything looks so much more beautiful.

Beautiful photo with the scripture. A good choice because of all the drought in our nation this summer. We have enjoyed an abundance of rain this week.

Let this verse always come to mind as I feel and see the physical rain wash this area we live in…and a great post to remember to appreciate His Word.

    Blessings & Aloha!

You've captured such a vibrant colorhere! Not to be cliche, but don't you just love raindrops on roses? How can we help but be drawn to such a sight. Thanks for posting this verse. It's so powerful!
