Earlier this week I drove to my daughter, Erin’s home. It was early morning and because of the unusually warm temperature, there was a heavy fog that hadn’t yet burned off.
When I arrived I saw she had already planted her flower beds and applied mulch.
It looked beautiful in the misty veil and the friendly Pansy faces proclaimed
Yesterday the twig was brown and bare;
To-day the glint of green is there;
Tomorrow will be leaflets spare;
I know no thing so wondrous fair,
No miracle so strangely rare.
I wonder what will next be there!
Has God impressed on your heart something special this week?
Was there a Scripture verse, a song, a quote, a poem or an encouraging word that came your way and caused you to pause.
I’d love for you to share.

Hi Idh! Your blog is truly inspiring. Your writings are simple and enjoyable. I think you are a real gift to those around you. May GOD bless you more and more because you are proclaiming His good works through your writing. God willing I wish to meet you someday. My husband and I got the oppurtunity to stay in the United States for some time, but we had to return after a while. Now we are blessed with a baby boy in India. I got to read your blog when we were there. Still I continue. And will share with my husband too. Keep up the good work!
It is always a joy to visit your blog! You have such an encouraging way about you. I want to think on good things. It's amazing how we can make the daily choice as to where we focus. Love this.
Blessings and love,
I love that Browning poem. That's how Anne of Green Gables ends (probably my favorite book as a child). It's a wonderful feeling, that all's right with the world!
So glad it is working now. We @ TakeSix are your newest followers via LF. 🙂
Hello Lorraine! Thank you for visiting my blog, and encouraging me to link here with your Springtime post. Erin's newly planted garden looks so fresh and energetic, but when they flower again at full height, they will be brimming spring!
hugs and blessings from Australia,
Oh how beautiful the newly planted flowers and mulch are! I find Spring is a good time to clean out my heart, too. Beautiful picture and the Browning poem, too.
Oh that picture is pretty. It's so nice to see signs of spring popping up all over the place
Thank you for your kind invitation! I will add my post this coming week (probably mid-week).
I love your daughter's flowers. I am so behind in my gardening…I have to get to work! :o} For whatever reason, we always open spring with a plethora of weeds to take care of before I can ever begin!

I read somewhere that the earth laughs in flowers! Yes, it does! Spring is so beautiful! This makes me want to start my garden NOW! I found you via Stone Gable. I write a 'Life Lessons on Sunday' most weeks, so am glad to joining in how the Lord is working in my life! Christie at Three Pixie Lane

Loraine…I have tried three separate times to link up and everytime it says it is not linked back. And it was on my blog…every time. I don't know what to do. I really wanted to join your linky party but your link dealy won't accept it.
I love spring and poetry so much, I've left a rather long one at my blog.
Love you selections as well, and your beautiful photos!
Wonderful thoughts about spring…newness of life…I love thinking about renewal as the earth comes alive again.
I ALWAYS enjoy your photography…but this post, paired with the delightful Browning poem was one of my favorites!
Thank you for the breath of fresh spring air even as I sit in front of the computer!
