Think on These Things #6 Springtime

By Lorraine

Earlier this week I drove to my daughter, Erin’s home. It was early morning and because of the unusually warm temperature, there was a heavy fog that hadn’t yet burned off.

When I arrived I saw she had already planted her flower beds and applied mulch.
It looked beautiful in the misty veil and the friendly Pansy faces proclaimed

has sprung!

 ~✿✿✿~

Yesterday the twig was brown and bare;

To-day the glint of green is there;
Tomorrow will be leaflets spare;
I know no thing so wondrous fair,
No miracle so strangely rare.
I wonder what will next be there!

Has God impressed on your heart something special this week?
Was there a Scripture verse, a song, a quote, a poem or an encouraging word that came your way and caused you to pause.
I’d love for you to share.
Here’s how:
Please link directly to your post, NOT your blog.

    Hi Idh! Your blog is truly inspiring. Your writings are simple and enjoyable. I think you are a real gift to those around you. May GOD bless you more and more because you are proclaiming His good works through your writing. God willing I wish to meet you someday. My husband and I got the oppurtunity to stay in the United States for some time, but we had to return after a while. Now we are blessed with a baby boy in India. I got to read your blog when we were there. Still I continue. And will share with my husband too. Keep up the good work!

    I love that Browning poem. That's how Anne of Green Gables ends (probably my favorite book as a child). It's a wonderful feeling, that all's right with the world!

    Oh how beautiful the newly planted flowers and mulch are! I find Spring is a good time to clean out my heart, too. Beautiful picture and the Browning poem, too.

    Thank you for your kind invitation! I will add my post this coming week (probably mid-week).

    I love your daughter's flowers. I am so behind in my gardening…I have to get to work! :o} For whatever reason, we always open spring with a plethora of weeds to take care of before I can ever begin!

    Blessings,
    Monica

    Hi Lorraine,
    It took forever for me to be able to link up. Yes, I had the button and the backlink info in my post. I almost gave up after 5-6 times…just so you know.

    Your post is beautiful and Erin's flowers are definitely a sign of spring. Soooo pretty!

    Thanks for hosting and hope you're having a lovely Sunday.

    I read somewhere that the earth laughs in flowers! Yes, it does! Spring is so beautiful! This makes me want to start my garden NOW! I found you via Stone Gable. I write a 'Life Lessons on Sunday' most weeks, so am glad to joining in how the Lord is working in my life! Christie at Three Pixie Lane
