Think On These Things #2

By Lorraine

Sometimes I am the one who is weighed down with concerns of life and at other times it is someone I am acquainted with.  God knows it is not good for us to carry the load alone and though He tells us to cast our cares on Him for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7), he also wants us to come alongside each other to encourage and help one another.
Has God impressed on your heart something special this week?
Was there a Scripture verse, a song, a quote, a poem or an encouraging word that came your way and caused you to pause.

Yes, I have claimed this verse before and so nice that you shared it. Our middle daughter is going through a very bad situation and I would so appreciate you remembering Brittany in your prayer journey~ Thank you~ Blessings, Mary

Wonderful post; one of the earliest verses we learned as children. Such a promise to instill in our hearts from our early memories.

Beautiful picture, wonderful verse and perfect message.
It always seems to me that a verse, or quote will always pop up just when I need it the most. Makes me stop and think

    I Corinthians 2:14:
"Now the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged."
…. does this not exactly describe the world around us today ?

I think serving others is one of the best ways to encourage ourselves. It's the best feeling to give a bit of me to someone else. This is a great scripture verse and a beautiful photo!
