Think on These Things #10 Abundance

By Lorraine

The abundant blooms on my lilac bush this year reminded me of the
abundant blessing the Lord pours into my life.

The profuse sweet fragrance also lifted my thoughts heavenward

I have the hardest time trying to post your button to my blog – I'm sure it must be me! But I had it on this week's post, it only shows us as a funny little thingie … when I just went back and re-did it, it worked. I'll try to do better next week 🙂 Hugs ~ Mary

    Hi Lorraine!
I see I have been missing on a lot of beauty and fun with your Think of These Things party! My computer is so fickle ~ it hasn't let me visit you for quite some time. Hopefully I will be able to join you next party ~ this weekend is full with gardening and 2nd grand daughter's birthday.
Oh, my! Your lilacs are glorious! The verse you have chosen to go with the photo is perfect! God does bless us abundantly, does He not? Mmmmm! Lilacs are my favorite flower! I have several bushes but none has ever bloomed so 'abundantly' as yours! Ours are just leafing out and have tiny buds ~ flowers in a couple of weeks maybe. Then I will send up my own joyful thanksgiving for this reminder of His goodness!
God is good all the time!

Just this afternoon I was looking at our still-bare lilac and dreaming about the day it will bloom. Just one more miracle!

Oh my, what beautiful lilacs, I can almost smell them. It will be a month or so before mine are in bloom. What a lovely scripture to put with these fragrant flowers. Thanks for much for linking to Scripture Thursday. ~ Abby
