Strawberry & Pudding Refrigerator Cake

By Lorraine

A dessert doesn’t have to be a made-from-scratch recipe to be delicious and pretty. A prepared box cake mix, instant pudding package and frozen whipped topping are all you need for this easy and popular refrigerator cake.

Look at those yummy layers!
To lighten it, use sugar-free pudding mix and fat-free whipped topping.
Bake a yellow cake mix, according to instructions on box, in a 9×13-inch pan (I made two 8-inch square pans and froze one of the layers for another time)
Prepare a small box of vanilla instant pudding per box directions and allow to sit for a few minutes to thicken.  Spread on top of cake.
If making a 9×13-inch cake, use a large box of pudding.
Arrange sliced strawberries over the pudding.
Spread, thawed, whipped topping over strawberries and garnish with additional strawberries.
That’s it! Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

I am always in awe with your photography skills, I just can't manage to take even decent pics. Even if I get a good camera, I don't have the skill to handle it.

I can't wait for strawberry season now. I found non-gmo/organic whipped cream at our grocer too.

I sit here with my hot cup of early morning coffee, and gaze at that scrumptious looking cake, wishing for some of it to eat with my coffee. You sure made it look good, and after reading the recipe, I can't wait to make it. You are the best cook and baker!
