I did not see any reply’s to questions so I’m not sure if you check this or just email response but how long does it take to set and how many days is it good for? I need one for tomorrow and one for Sunday and I was wondering if I can make them today
The strawberry pie thickens right away and sets as it cools. I think the pie is best the day it is made. It would probably be good made one day ahead but I think the crust would become soggy longer than that.
Hope this is helpful.

CAN I USE FROZEN WHOLE STRAWBERRIES INSTEAD OF FRESH.
I have only made this strawberry pie with fresh strawberries. I would be concerned that the thawed, frozen strawberries would contain too much moisture for the pie to set up correctly. If you do make the pie using frozen berries, let me know how it turns out. Thank you! Lorraine
This is the recipe I use…easy and delicious, make it every year.

My first thought was "I wonder who does the photography for this?". Thanks for sharing.

This was delicious! Just brought it to a fam party and people were raving about it. The only thing I changed was reducing the amt of sugar to 1 cup. That was enough for us.

We have tried your strawberry pie recipe several times and absolutely love it. Would it be okay with you if I used your recipe on my blog sometime? I would give you credit for the recipe.
I Love your recipes! I will try to make them with Swedish ingredients, we don't have Jell-O and a lot of other stuff that you have but i will find out what to use instead 🙂
Have a great day!

I made this pie over the weekend!! Great!!!! I used sugar-free jello and we loved it:) I will be posting it for Foodie Friday!!!!
I got this same recipe from my mother's elderly aunt. It is our favorite. Yes, it seems like a lot of sugar but it's SO good!
Katie Mar says
yumm i never knew how to make jello pie!!
your pictures are so refreshing.. you have no idea how excited i am for summer now!:)
I just e-mailed you with my recipe…forgot to add that there was also 2 cups water. Looks like mine does have a lot less sugar…only 1/2 cup.

How heavenly looking. In my house there's rarely ever "too much sugar" in anything, so it might fit the bill as it is. jan

This strawberry pie looks totally delicious! I wish I could have a slice :D)!!
Carolina Mountains says
I agree with the other comment above. The photos here are beautiful, and the recipe seems easy enough. I'm sure with a decrease of the sugar amount (which is waaaay, waaay too much), this will be delicious.
Personalized Sketches and Sentiments says
Your strawberry pie and the photos look awesome! I make something similar, but with a crushed pretzel crust. I can't wait to try yours in the pie crust.

This is way tooo sugary!!!! I made the pie and we are all having a sugar overload. It ruined the whole pie. 🙁 Do not follow the recipe if you don't want to just toss it in the garbage!
ummm, that looks yummy…how let's have some ice tea and slice me a piece of that pie 🙂

Oh I fell in love with your pie. It`s a very gorgeous pie! And your pictures are amazing!
Wow, I've made this delicious pie before, but it never looked so beautiful! Nice job!!!
I want to make this pie, but I need help…
I live in Portugal, so I don't have Jell-O.
I have another brand of Jello but to make it I don't had sugar. To make the Jell-O you have to add sugar?
To make my Jello I use 500 ml of water (+- 17 oz). Is it the same for Jell-O?
This makes me hungry. We made something similar with fresh GA peaches one summer. Hope you have a nice weekend with the family.
WOWZA!!! Nuff said….

This reminds me of the strawberry pies my mom always made, but yours sounds (and looks) so much better! I'm going to have to give your recipe a try this spring/summer. I really LOVE the decorative piping you did with the whipped cream, it really elevates this humble pie to a place of glory! It's stunning, and your photos are perfection. 🙂
