Show And Tell Friday ~ Yep… More Snow Pictures

By Lorraine

For those sick of winter, these pictures won’t inspire. But I am enjoying every flake! And in August when I am complaining of the heat and humidity these scenes will be just a memory.
The above picture was taken last night with just the light from the porch. It’s a little fuzzy but more how it actually looked. Kind of a dreamy feeling.
Such a different look with the flash, but still cool.

Abbey laughs at her dads snowsuit but it sure keeps a body warm.
This morning… very cold and bright sun.
Although I didn’t want to disturb the pristine surface of the snow, I tried walking out a bit to get a picture of my boxwood hedge. The snow was knee deep and my boots are too low to keep the snow out. We brushed away the snow after the last storm but this snow has all of the tree branches bent low. I dread the damage that may have occurred.
Our side yard on the north. The arborvitae on the left are our neighbors and they are so heavy with snow.
sad pup… “I wanna go in.”
Imagine… in a few months this Eastern Redbud will be full of tiny pink blossoms!

Do you think my hydrangea and hosta plants are okay under all of that snow?
Raider wants you to visit Cindy @My Romantic Home for more Show & Tell Friday posts!

I love that black and white photo of the trees at night. I love how everything looks at night when the snow is falling. How amazingly gorgeous. I hope that you are keeping warm and that your kitchen is full of yummy goodness. jan

It looks much the same here…its so beautiful isn't it! I too wonder what will not be damaged though. I'm thinking of my lilacs and pusswillow tree. Spring is getting closer and closer now. Happy Valentine's Day!

Well I am sick of snow but somehow it looks much prettier in your pictures than it does here in real life…lol
Raider looks adorable in the sweater and I don't blame him at all for wanting to get back inside.

It sure looks pretty but I am not a fan of snow and will take the heat any day because walking in snow is not easy when you are a Klutz like me:) I agree with your little dog with his sweet look that says LET ME IN ALREADY. When I lived in the NE I use to spray my little dogs feet with PAM (Cooking spray) so that the snow would stick to his paws. It does work but it gives you tiny greasy paw prints on your floors. My dog then loved licking his paws when I used the butter flavored Pam spray:) Happy Valentine's day!

The very best kind of snow! So pretty!
I'd keep that picture of the Eastern Redbud in a folder and follow that one thru the seasons. What a great collage that would make taking pictures of it from the same place in each season!

Even though I usually see a lot of snow every winter (not this year so far, though!), I a;ways love to see fresh snow. 🙂
