Rainy Days and Mondays

By Lorraine

                                             and Tuesdays
                                                                 and Wednesdays
                                                                                           and Thursdays and…

 almost every day
 late afternoon
 or evening
heavy rain storms.  many severe with lightening and wind.
We broke the recorded record for rainfall in June ~ more than 10 inches.
My son-in-law posted a photo on fb with this caption:  the My house at the end of the rainbow
then, fifteen minuted later, this is what we saw from our front door
a beautiful sky after a storm

Great pictures! We have been getting the rain here too, not complaining as we have been in a drought! Last picture was awesome!

How beautiful! I love your rain photos. Last week, we had two days of rain too! I enjoyed them so much. That was so unusual for CA. And now we have a wave of unbearable heat, it's over 100 every day.

Fabulous rainbows and sky. We got our rain all morning and early afternoon today. It seemed to really pick up just as I left the subway and needed to walk. Keep cool!

If I could, I would blow a little of our very hot, dry weather down your way. It may be small comfort, but all that rain will pay off in gorgeous blooms soon!

When I first read the title of this post, I started singing the Carpenter's song. Do you remember it? But as I read your post all I could think of was …send the rain to Phoenix. We have had such a long drought and extremely high temps of 119! But if it rained and rained, I guess I would have to say I'd get a bit tired of it too.

    Blessings and love,
    Debbie

We have been having the same thing-thunder storms and a little rain. We also had hail on Friday night that did lots of damage to our vege's.
Love the sky after the rain though; your pics are lovely.

Same kind of weather here…but we did manage to sneak in some pool time with the grandkids yesterday. I saw a bit of a rainbow the other day. But nothing as vibrant as the rainbows you shared!

You have some lovely rain photos here! Rain falling here too. I really do not mind rain…but this has been a bit much for me. I feel as if I might mildew…
