Add the Rice Krispies and stir until evenly coated.
Spread the mixture onto the sprayed parchment paper.
With hands moistened with cold water or sprayed with non-stick spray, press down the Rice Krispies mixture until even in the pan.
In a bowl, combine the hazelnut spread and 1/2 cup peanut butter.

I’m not a big fan of peanut butter. Do you think I could substitute almond butter? These look like a fun treat to make!
Lorraine says
Hello Arlene,
Though I have never substituted almond butter for peanut butter in this recipe, I did a little research and it seems like it will work just fine.
Here is what I found from this site: https://barneybutter.com/how-to-use-almond-butter-instead-of-peanut-butter/
Substitute almond butter for peanut butter in any recipe or meal that you make. Almond butter has the same buttery and thick consistency that peanut butter has, but does not come in a “chunky” or “smooth” option. All almond butter varieties are smooth and creamy. However, you can find almond butter that is salted or unsalted.
Hope this is helpful to you!
Kindly, Lorraine
