comfort

By Lorraine

praying for my friend and her family who are traveling the road of great loss
and
for others who need to be reminded
of the One who is able to lovingly and tenderly carry us through difficult times
The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
Deuteronomy 31:8

Many close to me are hurting deeply, and my heart and prayers are with them through their journey. This brought me comfort and peace in the midst of it all. Praying with you dear friend, for your friend. Beautiful artwork!

This is one of my favorite Scriptures. None of our suffering and trials are wasted. How often I've had the opportunity to come alongside someone who is going through something I went through. I've been comforted by my Lord and I'm able to comfort someone else. You always share the Scriptures with images so beautifully.

    Blessings and love,
    Debbie

Such comforting words. We have a dear woman in our church whose 49 year old son was found dead in his hotel room this past week. So, so sad! Lots of sadness all around but thankfully we serve a God who is able to see us through.

    Blessings for the new week!

What a comforting post. The first scripture verse is the one we widows say together at the beginning of our meeting/luncheon each month.

The second verse is really a wonderful reminder of God's great love for each and every one of us.

May God's love and strength surround your friends at this time.

Thank you for this encouraging post.
