My photos are totally blurred and out of focus but still a thrill to see this pair of barn swallows swoop and swirl on the front porch early one morning.

I've always liked swallows. We have a real big section of lawn we mow out in front of the house. If we mow late in the afternoon/early evening. The swallows will swoop around the mower diving for bugs coming up from the grass I guess.

They are beautiful and one year we let them build their nest on our porch and they were so mean, attacking me every time I went out side.{lol} It is funny to me now but wasn't then. This year they came back to build and I said "no Vacancy" {smile.} Thanks for sharing as always I enjoy my visit. The wren story was beautiful. Sue
If you wouldn't have said anything about your pictures being out of focus I would have thought they were meant to be that way. It gives them a dreamy sort of look. What fun it had to have been to sit and watch them.
I love watching the Barn Swallows with their forked tails and curved pointed wings. I think their coloring is pretty, but they can be messy housekeepers when living nearby ; ).
