I’m a little excited and a little apprehensive. Actually, I’m a lot excited and even more apprehensive than I’d like to admit.
I am hoping to take my blog in a new direction by seeking to make it something that will generate income. That’s a big step for me and one I’ve pondered a long, long time.
You see, I really love what I do here at Grateful Prayer Thankful Heart. I love the things I’ve learned, the people I’ve met and the friendships that have formed. And if that is as far as my blog takes me, then I consider myself blessed, indeed.
Yet, as I enter my ninth year blogging, I’ve thought often and struggled with the amount of time and energy it takes to prepare each post. As most bloggers know, it is a huge investment. Planning and preparing recipes or crafts, then photo styling, photographing, photo editing, cleaning up the mess I made, then drafting the post, editing, proof reading and on it goes.
I am taking a bold step sharing this with you, my readers, but with the relationships that have grown with many of you, I feel it is safe that as I press onward you will be kind if and when I stumble along the way.
With continual prayer, not that my goal will succeed, but if it should even be a goal, John and I have committed that for three months, I will research, study and learn everything I can during that time. Then we will evaluate to determine, with the Lord’s leading, whether we will continue in this direction.
You probably noticed I have begun including affiliate links in my posts. I choose items that I actually use and find helpful and relevant to that post. Of utmost importance is that my readers know I value each of you and the time you give to visit and to comment. I will do nothing to jeopardize your trust by being anything other than honest and genuine.
I hope to update along the way and appreciate your thoughts and suggestions. Sifting through copious amounts of information is daunting and there are mountains of things I am completely unfamiliar with. Together we will see where this all leads. Thanks, friends for your support 🙂

Awww…you know I will follow you anywhere, Lorraine! PLEASE don't let put those annoying pop-ups that go all across the page. Sometimes when you click out of them it takes you to that site anyway. I don't mind the side bar posts or the affiliate links but I sure hate those pop-ups. lol
Wishing you the best of luck. xo Diana

I love the way God leads in new directions, my friend. God will take you where He wants you to go since you are asking Him to lead the way! Can't wait to hear more. My sweetheart and I are in a new place where we, too, are seeking God's leading in new directions. It's exciting to know we can't go wrong when we wait for Him!
