Knitted Heart Wash Cloth

By Lorraine

Who doesn't love feeling pampered. Or making someone else feel special. Pretty and practical, I just finished making a Knitted heart wash cloth as a heartfelt gift for a sweet friend. The pattern of hearts is lovely for any occasion but especially cute for Valentine's Day or Mother's Day.

The wash cloth is a really nice and large cloth, measuring more than 10-inches square. I worked using a variegated cotton yarn of soft peachy pink, sage green, heather and cream and used small knitting needle to keep the stitches tight. A solid yarn would also be pretty.

Do you like to keep a project in progress to work on from time to time? I find needlework to be relaxing and a great diversion when I’ve been doing intense thinking and planning. It kind of clears my head while still being productive.

Very pretty. I don't knit, but have many, many, many crochet projects on the go all the time. Have a wonderful Wednesday.

I like to have more than one project going, that way I always have something to suit my mood or that is easy to take with me.

What a lovely "labor of love." I use to crochet but haven't in a very long time. I should get back with it. Blessings!
