…to have his photo taken in PopPop’s christening outfit
I have photos of all but two grandchildren in this vintage romper as well as our youngest daughter, Abbey who is now 22 years old. Somehow, I missed grandchildren, Keri and Noah and never thought of it when our older girls were babies. That makes me a little sad since it has now become a tradition.

It is such a joy that you share this beautiful family – your joys and all with us. The Christening tradition is wonderful, indeed, and makes me sad I did not do this with my own children and grands.
Sadly a couple of my grown children (or spouse) would not use that gown which I wore – and it was over 100 years old for me…My oldest wore it – and then hubby's Mom insisted on buying new for the rest…Sad! but better than a fight.
God bless you for bringing this joy that you have in the knowledge of the Lord with all of us. Thank you!

This is such a precious tradition! I can see lots of family resemblance in your sweet grandchildren.
I also love the verse of Scripture and the word art you designed.

Oh- What a treasure, Lorraine! I just love it. I made one when I was pregnant with my oldest so that we would have a traditional gown to pass down. Yours is gorgeous…as are all those babies! xo Diana

Beautiful photos of all the adorable children in their traditional family heirloom outfit. We also have a gown in French embroidered silk that was made out of my Mil's wedding dress. My daughters, my g'girls and all of hubby's siblings, their children and grands have been Christened in this small gown as well; so yes, what a wonderful tradition you have and it's sad when a couple of children do miss it. Thanks for sharing.
Hugs,

This is one of the most interesting and meaningful ways to share one's grandchildren. I cannot believe you have the same outfit and it is still white and in such great shape. What a legacy for each one. These are the cutest pictures, and the most precious little ones. What treasures and gifts they are to both of you, from our God above.
