Crochet Boutique Bag
Note about Crochet Boutique Bag
When revisiting this post some time after it was first published, I was so sad to find that the link to the pattern no longer works. All clicks to the creator of the pattern (Sara from Tangled Happy) seems to indicate that the site no longer exists.
I have searched the internet looking elsewhere for the pattern and came up empty.
But, I did find a YouTube video (scroll to bottom for the video) showing the process. As you can see from the photos, the bags are adorable.

Lining the crochet boutique bag
The open crochet stitch creates holes in the finished bag. By lining each one, small items stay secure in the bouquet bag and is gives it more body.
Choose a matching or complimentary piece of fabric if you decide to line your project. Sew two small pieces, cut to the size of the bag plus a seam allowance with right sides facing. Tuck the lining into the bag and turn under a small hem. Using a needle and thread, whip stitch the lining to the crochet bag. Take notice that I stitched just below the handle area.
Though a different type of crochet bag, I found a great video tutorial for lining a bag. It is sure to be a great guide to help you from Nana Hobby Crochet.
