Keri hadn’t spent the night for a while so we asked if she would like to come Sunday evening.
Much to everyone’s surprise, Caleb said in his sweet little voice…
“I go to Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop’s too?”
Who could resist those pleading eyes as he gestures putting on his ‘McQueen’ jammies
so he could sleep over Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop’s.
Into the car with clothes and toothbrushes packed and Pillow Pets in tow, wondering if he might be heading back home before the moon set.
Keri, fully prepared for an overnight stay.
This little guy was so excited the whole time he was here!
How delighted he was to get a bubble bath!
After a scrub-down, he poured cupful after cupful of water on his head and in his face.
Bedtime (when we thought he might say he wanted Mommy) went smoothly with just one reminder about being quiet. Caleb slept in the crib and big sister, Keri gave up a comfy bed to be close by for comfort and slept on a pile of quilts on the floor in his room.
After a good nights sleep, blueberry pancakes, sausage, banana and strawberries filled those empty tummies.
sharing with Raider.

What a wonderful bunch of photos ~ what precious memories of a very special evening. I can't wait to have "overnights at Gramma's house!
The pictures of Caleb in the tub are my very favorite. What a beautiful little boy he is!
How sweet of Keri to give up her comfy bed to sleep near her little brother, but I bet her Mom-Mom made sure her pile of quilts was so very soft & cozy!!

What a precious time you must have had! I remember how excited I always used to get when I stayed over at my grandmother's house all by myself. Those are great memories.

What a treat for all of you! I can't wait until I have my sleep over at my son's in April – four whole nights, and a half a continent away.

How I long for grandchildren! If only I had met my
precious husband earlier in life…oh well. With
our youngest son getting married in August maybe
we will have those little ones before too long.
Yours are so precious…true gifts from God.
Blessings~
