The theme of this embroidery sample is our 35th wedding anniversary.
Here it is all finished and our anniversary isn’t until October!
I have never before finished a project so far in advance!
It was so fun to make and a very relaxing and enjoyable craft project.

This heart fills the center square of the sampler.

Song of Songs 6:3
(I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine).
I stitched it onto my sampler and then used a translator from Hebrew to English.
It was not correct, so… out came the stitches.
I thought about writing out the verse all around the four sides, but I rejected that idea too.
Simply writing the word Beloved seemed best.
Finished piece prepared for framing
Beginning of project here.
A beautiful way to commemorate your 35th wedding anniversary! Congratulations! Joan
It's beautiful, congratulations for finishing! I only have 13 squares to go!!

Your project turned out beautiful! I'm still working on mine. I love your color palette. TFS:D
Very, very lovely! A treasure, for sure! And how awesome that you have it completed way before time…(I have so many "unfinished" quilt tops and now I'll be starting on some smocking!)
Blessings & Aloha!
Thanks for showing us the finished framed embroidery, it's stunning.
What a wonderful piece to be passed down with love. I hope you stitched your initials and year somewhere on the piece. This has beena joy to follow. The finished result is awe inspiring!

That turned out just beautiful. That will be a keepsake for sure. You have such talent. I know that will be cherished for a lifetime.
Have a blessed Easter.
Hugs,
Tara
What a 'timepiece' for your family.
I have never been very good at stitching. In fact my sister gave birth to her first child in 1988. My sweet little niece was born with a myriad of birth defects. They said she would never, walk, talk, think, or live to be past 20 years old.
I started a cross stitch project for her room – 'the little train that could' – and I couldn't! My sweet niece will be 22 this July. She walks, talks, thinks – although she is mentally about the age of a 6 year old, she has been a wonderful blessing to our family.
Th cross stitch project – still has not been finished. I guess having your hand in too many pots – can be as bad and not having it in one.
I have treasured embroidery pieces from my grandmother, that have stood the test of time and told the story of her life. How wonderful to think that yours will as well!
Treasure the weekend!
What an heirloom-to-be you've created here, every inchie representing memories of your life together and all that the Lord has blessed you with!
It's been about 27 years since I embroidered but I enjoyed it so much as a teen and young adult :o)
Blessings!
It is beautiful. What a lovely work of art for you to remember your anniversary with.

and all of the amazing detail!
What a treasure!!!!
Hope you had a good 'Good Friday!'
Love Always~ Miss Jen
It's beautiful ~ I love the colors! The black frame is so striking.
So what color will the next one be? : )
How exquisite! Just unbelieveable and to have it done so early is amazing.

oh wow, that is so nice. I do love the way it looks and the black frame is perfect for it. Bet your husband is going to love that.
I just love that so much. I want to do one but will have to get up the courage to begin…
It's beautiful.
Lovely! How long did it take you to make this? My mom embroidered our pillow cases when we were kids. I still have on of them. Looking at it now, I appreciate the hard work she put into making the it.
