How to make rosebuds
Socks with stretchy cuffs like the ones shown in this post work well for making the flowers.
Start by lifting the sock cuff and flattening the sock.
Beginning at the toe edge, softly begin rolling.
Continue rolling to the top.
Separate the top edge of the sock. Take the top edge of the sock and turn it over onto the roll.
Fiddle a little until you have your desired flower shape.
You can gently pull the center to form a longer bud or smush it a little for a flatter blossom.
A view of the rosebud from the top.
Sewing the rosebuds together to create a corsage
Thread a large eye needle with a length of yarn about 24-inches long. Pull the yarn through the bottom on the first rosebud sock.
Add the next rosebud with a few more stitches and then add the third.
Using a set of faux flower leaves, anchor them securely behind the rosebud cluster with the same length of yarn.
Using a medium size safety pin or a corsage pin, sew in place with the yarn. Knot and cut the end.

So so cute. I have never seen them made as a corsage before. I have used them on Diaper Cakes which are always a big hit, too. Love this idea of the corsage though! xo Diana

Those are adorable and how easy to make too. Too bad I don’t know anyone that’s having a baby.
