Our middle daughters (we have 4) are twins and they were married in a double wedding ceremony in 2002. I found handsome pillows with beautiful tassels at a local store. I stitched vintage hankies onto each pillow as well as a ribbon across the back for the young Ring Bearers to use while carrying each set of wedding rings. Then I added a beautiful lace piece that came from the blouse my mother (their Grandmother) worn for her marriage in 1945 ~ 57 years earlier!

Hi, Thanks for playing along with my blog puzzle! A clue for you is that I have been a most CLUELESS bride! There is something missing in the photo as a result of this cluelessness. Also, where there is a prince there is a ….. which should lead you to what you are looking for. I have written several times about it. Have a great week! Elizabeth

Michele ~ I plan an anniversary post in June of the girls double wedding. It was a very special day that my husband and I will always cherish.

That is the sweetest story of your daughters marrying in a double ceremony, and their exquisite pillows with such a history! Thanks for sharing! Might you have pictures of the wedding day to share, too? =)

How very special, what a neat idea to use some of your mom’s dress. I guess I’ll miss out on all those kinds of things having two sons.
