Are these the sweetest cupcakes you have ever seen! Billowing layers of ruffled frosting makes me want to swipe my finger through them and lick off the sweetness. These scrumptious looking cupcakes didn’t come from a bakery, pastry shop or pâtisserie. They aren’t even edible. These adorable cupcakes are actually Handcrafted Cupcake Soap and they come from Nancy’s Garden Soap Company.
Handcrafted Cupcake Soap
I purchased a couple of cupcake soaps from my friend, Nancy, to give as gifts. When I saw them in real life I had to share the cuteness with you. Who wouldn’t want to receive one of these unique culinary confections. They come in their own gift box with a cellophane window giving a glimpse of the goodies inside.
This tempting chocolate cupcake is frosted with realistic roses. Ruffled leaves and sprinkles decorate the top. It has a lovely fragrance as well.
Love of her craft
I have known Nancy since she was just a teen. A sweetie from church, she used to babysit for me. Always engaging and fun, her smile and humor warms my heart.
Nancy has certainly perfected her craft. She had been making soap for many years and she loves the process.
Nancy shares: “I love soap-making! It combines science and art; it’s beautiful and practical! About 15 years ago, I made my first batch of soap… 4 kids and lots of soap batches later, I enjoy playing with different colors, techniques, ingredients & formulas.”

About the crafter
I’m a homeschooling, gardening, soap-making, chicken-raising, knitting mom to 4 great kids! Don and I have been married for almost 25 years. We love Jesus and are active in our local church. With a degree in biology and secondary ed teaching certification, I’ve worked as a lab tech, computer analyst, software instructor and missionary, but my favorite work is being a stay-at-home mama. It’s a bit stressful at times, so I make soap, garden, incubate chicken eggs and machine knit for hobbies. In my spare time I like to research and learn new things!
