Dorie’s recipe was very similar to my Peanut Butter Cookie recipe.
She said the dough would be “soft. pliable (mushable, actually)”.
My dough was way too sticky to roll into balls with my hands. I adding additional flour and even then, I just dropped the tablespoonfuls into the bowl of sugar to coat before making the crisscrosses and placing onto the sheet.
Not sure why I needed extra flour but the cookies turned out great!
