Who doesn’t love feeling pampered. Or making someone else feel special. Pretty and practical, I just finished knitting a washcloth as a gift for a sweet friend. The pattern of hearts is lovely for any occasion but especially cute for Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day.
It is a really nice and large cloth measuring more than 10-inches square. I worked in a variegated cotton yarn of soft peachy pink, sage green, heather and cream and used small knitting needle to keep the stitches tight. A solid yarn would also be pretty.
Do you like to keep a project in progress to work on from time to time? I find needelwork to be relaxing and a great diversion when I’ve been doing intense thinking and planning. It kind of clears my head while still being productive.
